The pages under www.bahn.de are clearly structured with regard to text, content and navigation. Due to the editorial system clear headings and links are contextual. Tables are structured logically. The key content is not presented using only charts. So-called Alt tags have been created to describe pictures and charts. The colour scheme is rich in contrast.

Deutsche Bahn AG has followed the guidelines of the "World Wide Web Consortium" (W3C) for its website, whereby particular attention has been paid to the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines" (WAI) when designing the pages of www.bahn.de.
